(ARC) REVIEW: The Shapeshifter's Secret by Heather Ostler

Title: The Shapeshifter's Secret
Author: Heather Ostler
Publisher: Cedar Fort
Expected Publication: June 12,2012
Source: Publisher

Publisher Synopsis: Like any sixteen-year-old, Julia's used to dealing with problems. From her overprotective father to her absent mother to a teacher who definitely has it in for her. But everything changes when Julia's reactions become oddly vicious and angry---more animal than human. This action-packed adventure has it all: humor, romance, and a plot that will keep you guessing to the very last page.

My Rating:

My Review:
The Shapeshifter’s Secret does not waste any time getting going. This story is action packed from the get-go.

Julia is a typical teenager, or so she thinks, until she starts having uncontrollable bouts of anger and even what seem to be hallucinations.

Heather Ostler introduces us to the beautiful world of Osaii and boy did I want to join Julia and her friends there, it seemed like such a magical place. Werecats and Water Nymphs are just some of who live in Osaii.

Julia’s character is wonderfully strong and sassy and I loved her. Her transformation was so very in depth and shown in great detail. It really felt like as the reader I was right there with her.

Overall a terrific debut by Heather Ostler, be ready for mystery, action, romance, and plenty of twists and turned to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

I'm so excited to see a positive review about this! I just got it from the publishers on Kindle, and it looks amazing! But I'm having to wait to start it because of some other books that are coming out sooner.

Great Blog, btw! I love how you have your reviews listed in different genres!
