Blog Tour: Derailed by Alyssa Rose Ivy

New Adult - Contemporary Romance
Publication Date: September 26th 2012

When you're lost, sometimes the only place you can go
is home.

Broken over the death of her fiancé, Molly leaves law school to return to her
childhood home in North Carolina. Expecting to lay low until she can figure out
what else to do with her life, she finds herself in the arms of her high school
sweetheart, the boy who represents everything from the past she tried to leave
behind.

Looking for an escape, she instead finds a way back to the girl she almost forgot
existed and a future she never dreamed possible.

My Rating: 4.5 *'s

My Review:
When we first meet Molly, her life is pretty much in the gutter and falling apart around her. She has experienced a huge loss in that of her fiance and is now questioning everything her life has been about for the last 5 years. Waking out on her Law School and moving back home is just the beginning of her journey.

Molly has been playing the blame game her entire life. She has blamed herself for so much and going home again just re-opens wounds that were buried deep within her. Upon reconnecting with her first love, she learns more about herself and her past.

I absolutely adored Ben and how open and honest he was about his past mistakes and his desires to fix everything that went so wrong 5 years earlier. I loved how he was so obviously heartbreaker material but only had eyes for Molly.

New Adult has quickly become my favorite Genre to read and having read several of Alyssa Rose Ivy's books, I can not wait to see what she comes up with next!
