A creature of refined instinct yet little social grace, he is strangely captivated by Claren but knows nothing of how her family’s dark past is intertwined with his own. Through their blossoming friendship, Etrigan realizes he still retains his human heart and yearns for Claren’s love.

Kurten Wandsworth is the only son of the Mayor of St.Marhen. Kurten lives his life fueled by cruelty and lust. Whatever he wants he takes and he wants Claren to be his wife even it if kills her. Scarred by Claren he hunts her down mercilessly until he can set a trap which she will never be able to escape from.

I’ve been writing since first setting pencil to steno pad at age 8. A year later, I began developing the world of my current series-in-progress, and even created its title, The Silver Sphere. Now, with the support of years of experience, those early maps and back stories have progressed into what I hope is a fresh and entertaining take on the classic young adult fantasy adventure.
Despite my frequent escapes into parallel worlds, I root myself firmly in my very real family and community. When not pacing the yard maniacally after every few pages of writing, I spend as much time as possible hanging out with my studly 9-year-old son, and my inspirational wife Jenna. I also coach several local youth sports teams in Beverly Hills, and alternate between yelling at my two crazy Corgis and hiking with my trained German Shepherd.

YA Fantasy
Date Published: 10/26/12

Temperance is satisfied with her ordinary life. Dealing with her eccentric, childlike parents is all the excitement she needs. That changes when Alastair Byron returns home.

They are forced together though, when they are implicated in a grisly murder. Their search for the truth leads them to a secret world beneath Carwick, filled with werewolves, wizards and other magical faey.
However, uncovering the truth is far more dangerous than they’d ever imagined.
There are secrets within secrets.
Even Alastair may be more than he seems…

My Rating:

My Review:
The writing duo of M. Latimer-Ridley has taken the typical YA Paranormal and added a little more darkness to it. I think the cover does a great job of showing this.

Temperance (Great Name) has had a unique upbringing and is more the adult than the child. She meets Alistair and her world is turned upside down. Be ready for twists and turns and surprises. This book will definitely keep you in suspense. Usually you get either a Paranormal or a Mystery with your romance. This book does a great job of combining the three.

The relationship between Temperance and Alistair evolved at a nice pace. Yes there was attraction from the start, but it was not a BAM I love you type. ; )

Latimer (Karen) and Ridley (Rachel) are two eccentric best friends with far too many obsessions and a frightening addiction to tea. When they aren't reading stories filled with magic, passion and adventure, they're writing them.
A writing duo for the last nine years, they've always dreamed of sharing their imaginary worlds and quirky characters with others.
While they live in Ireland, they would love to spend their lives travelling the world. But for now, they can be found happily wandering the internet.

Three years after a career ending injury ruins his chance to play Major League Baseball, Gavin has a distrust of northerners and lately girls in general. He wants nothing to do with a girl who is only in town for the summer.
When the two give in to their impossible attraction, they realize that they may just have found the key to freeing themselves from the ghosts of their pasts.

My Rating:

My Review:

We were introduced to Gavin in Derailed, book #1 and I honestly could not stand him. I was a little nervous I wouldn't like this one because he was the main character, but Alyssa Rose Ivy does an amazing job of showing growth in her characters and allowing them to evolve.

Gavin has some major unresolved relationship issues and to be honest is quite the A** most of the time. Becca is not without her own personal problems and the realtionship between these two is a rocky one, but well worth the drama. I loved the pace at which their love unraveled.

Alyssa Rose Ivy has quickly become one of my favorite New Adult Authors!

The sequel to Lancaster House

Zoe Grayson is back in Lancaster House, ordered to bed rest for the duration of her unexpected pregnancy. Doctor Wade Channing, her overzealous psychiatrist, is living in Lancaster House, taking care of her, waiting on her, and tending to her every need. It seems to be the perfect arrangement.

There’s just one catch.

She has to tell him her story—everything that has happened in her life since the moment she escaped from Serenity Hills. It’s been quite an adventure to include renovating another home and a walk down the middle aisle.

But, that’s all over now. Nothing is real. It never was.

How did she end up in this miserable situation?

Praise for Lancaster House:

Wow. Where to start? Lancaster House was one of the most exhilarating, amazing books I've read all year. Maybe even ever. There is an undercurrent of menace and a totally creepy vibe running through the first half of the novel, one which kept me turning the pages and had my heart beating that little bit faster. From the opening pages, you're sucked right into the action, wondering what is going on and what will happen next.

Wow! What an intense and refreshing book! It pulled me in form the very first page!It has everything from suspense to mystery and yes, of course, romance! This book kept me on edge by keeping me guessing to the very end! Lancaster House is not your same ole paranormal romance that we all have come to know and expect! Oh no! There was no way I could have guessed all the twists and turns that are held in this book! It left me surprised and very satisfied with the the whole story! I guarantee you have never read any other book that is remotely like this one (well at least I sure haven't and I have read a lot of books!)
-Jess of Book Liaison

Andre and Zoe just give me chills at how beautiful they are together. Not to mention this story has every wow factor to it you can imagine. Twists and turns like you wouldn’t believe. It was a great adventure and a job well done for Taylor Dean. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to everyone. A true masterpiece.
-Chasity of Batty for Books

Reading this book, I was not prepared for the strength of voice and the very real grit author Taylor Dean projects in her amazing story. Give me a great ghost story any day of the week. Fill it with kick butt heroines and a spicy romance and you have me at the word go.

Lancaster House is amazingly written and such an original story. I was Zoe and Andre's number one fan from the beginning, they are an amazing couple, and Taylor easily conveys their love in this story.
-Brandy of Book Worm Brandy

Can I just say WOW! This is really a gripping read and one I recommend highly! Taylor Dean is on my list of must read authors now.

I have never read a book quite like this one. I can't begin to describe to you how good it was.

DEADLY EYES synopsis: James Cuffy, better known as Cuff, is living in paradise with his girlfriend, Rosie, on the small Caribbean island of St. Croix, where the sky is as blue as Cuff's eyes, the ocean as pretty as Rosie's cheeks, where the gentle lapping of the waves is a lullaby, and the swaying of the palm trees is a dance. The sandy beaches are as white as sugar, and the horizon is a world away. St. Croix indeed is paradise, the perfect place for living, laughing, and loving.

But the sandy beaches and the turquoise sea can provide no cover from the deadly eyes of the unknown stalker pursuing Cuff. Murder leads to murder as he attempts to untangle the terrible web in which he has suddenly become entangled.

The twists and turns are many, the roads of the fast action leading in all directions. Cuff and Rosie are relentlessly pursued by a diabolical force that shows them no mercy. Do these two good people stand a chance against such sheer evil?

I have resided in and have visited many places in the world, all of which have
contributed in some way to my own published writing. I have literally traveled
throughout the world, on numerous occasions. I have lived in Finland, Germany,
Thailand, Saudi Arabia (where COVERT DREAMS is set), and the U.S. Virgin
Islands (where DEADLY EYES is set). I gained the wanderlust to see the world,
to experience other cultures, at an early age, and this desire has never left
me. If anything, it has only gained in intensity as I have aged. I try to travel
internationally at least once a year. In the interim, I spend lots of time traveling
around both my home state of California and other nearby states.

I spent my early years in the small town of Lone Pine, California, the home of
almost every western movie, in addition to a wide variety of other genres, made
in the 30's, 40's, 50's, and 60's. In fact, Hollywood still films parts of big-time
movies there today. My dad, the town's lifeguard at the time, personally knew
John Wayne, Lloyd Bridges, and Lee Marvin, all of whom came to the town's
pool, the Memorial Plunge, at times to cool off after a hectic day of working
in the sun. I was even an extra in a movie filmed there in 1957, MONOLITH
MONSTERS, a B-cult favorite even today. I was ten years old at the time. Even
though I resided in a small town hours from the big city, I was exposed to the
excitement of action and heroes at a formative age, and, thus, my interest in
writing novels of suspense such as COVERT DREAMS and DEADLY EYES was
born.

As a recent retiree from a forty-year career as a professor of writing, I now live in
Southern California wine country with my wife, Kitty, and our two other cats.

Blog Tour: Volcanoes by Nicole Hamlett

Urban Fantasy
Book #3 in Grace Murphy Series

“I needed something big. I'd found a dormant volcano

in my earlier exploration. Yeah – that would be big and
in typical Grace Murphy fashion, I didn't think this one
through, I just blew it.”

Be careful what you ask of Fate - sometimes she gives it to you.
When we last saw our heroine, she'd watched her faithful pet rip off her new best friend's head to save her son's life and Atlantis was rising from the depths. Now, Grace Murphy is back in the third installment of the Huntress series, but this time she's facing an all-out war. It's critical that Nyx (and Atlantis) stay buried, but her psychotic brats will do most anything to get her back.
You didn't think that was all, did you? Of course there's more!
With Hypnos invading her dreams, Dylan caught up in the throes of his "change" and juggling her relationships with two hunky Gods, Drew and Heph, to say Grace's hands are full would be an understatement.
Grace wished her life would just go back to the way it was before, and that she wouldn't have her powers or responsibilities anymore. Unfortunately, it looks like Fate answered this time. The results aren't pretty.
