Is There a Message in Your Novel That You Want Readers to Grasp? I think questioning the mystical aspect regarding God and good and evil.



Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing? I find writing very challenging. It’s difficult to weave a story together and it’s sometimes impossible to end the story.



How many books have you written and which is your favorite? I have written 12 books altogether.




If You had the chance to cast your main character from Hollywood today, who would you pick and why? I would like to see the actress from This is Us, Susan Kelechi Watson play Geneviève. I think she would be wonderful.



When did you begin writing? A long time ago



How long did it take to complete your first book? About a year



Did you have an author who inspired you to become a writer? There were so many but of course the Bronte sisters



What is your favorite part of the writing process? Just sitting down and doing it



Describe your latest book in 4 words. Haughty, humorous, adventurous, mystical

Olivia Hardy Ray is the pen name for Vera Jane Cook. The Author has published Three fantasy novels as Olivia Hardy Ray and five women’s fiction titles as Vera Jane Cook. The Author is writing a sequel to Pharaoh’s Star called Fox Hollow Road. The author’s women fiction title, Kismet, is due out this winter.
