Is There a Message in Your Novel That You Want Readers to Grasp? The main message conveyed in Lost is that there is always a way to fight
for your answers, your freedom and knowing yourself is the start.

Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing? The challenge I find is in slowing the scene down to build up the world,
the character’s feelings while pacing the action.

How many books have you written and which is your favorite? I’ve written twenty-two books. My favorite, oh gosh that is hard.
Purgatory Reign was so fun to write and still is the series of my heart since
it’s loosely based on a story my husband wrote for his creative writing class.

When did you begin writing? I used to write
when I was a teen, then stopped throughout college. I started back in my
thirties because my son said he didn’t like reading anymore because the
characters were so different than him and his friends.

How long did it take to complete your first book? My first book only took three months to write. However, it was over a
year of editing before it was ready for beta readers.

Did you have an author who inspired you to become a writer? L.A. Banks the author of the The Vampire Huntress Legend Series. I
actually got to meet her in person while starting my second series.

What is your favorite part of the writing process? I enjoy experiences the new and exciting places my imagination takes me.
The escapism is my favorite part.

Describe your latest book in 4 words. Adventure, strength, family, redemption.

Can you share a little bit about your current work or what is in the
future for your writing? Lost is the first book in the
Misfits series. The series starts with Penelope (called Peppa) who is trying to
find herself while saving other runaways. Her story is the beginning of the
solving of a mystery that is a spin off of my Vigilant Series. Lost is also an
altered version of Peter Pan with many twist that will share a different
perspective of the power welded by beings that can lure those kids that are in
need of connection to worlds that are sinister in their beauty. Peppa discovers
herself through loving others. I am currently writing the next book in the
series named, Frigid.
