My Rating:

My Review:
WOW, I loved how original Megan Duncan's Young Adult Paranormal Vampire story was! Reading this genre can get VERY repetitive, but this one really stands out!

Claire, is such a likable character. I really felt like she was well developed and easy to relate to and care for as a reader.

The Vampires are not in hiding in this book, they are actually the rulers! They rule over the humans without the humans even ever have seen them. They are still very reculsive to their own kind, but just the fact that they are in power with everyone knowing is so different.

Claire's journey in  this story is great. I love that she isn't going to take anyone's crap. She really does a fantastic job of standing up for herself.

There are definite twists and revelations in this one that will leave you wanting to pick up the next book right away!

There is not a ton of romance, more the prospect for it in the future, which I was fine with!
