PROMO Blitz: The Mushroom Effect by M.A. Iori #promo #scifi #timetravel #romance #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours @BookBuzznet @marcello_iori

Sci-fi Time Travel Romance

Date Published: August 15, 2022

Can you imagine to be able to travel in other worlds and find out that who you love is living a different life without you? A life that you could feel and go through looking for another chance… because let’s be honest, we all make mistakes and often we have thought about a second chance.

This novel narrates the tragic story of two lovers separated by death. Like Orpheus ventured himself to the land of the dead to attempt to bring Eurydice back to life, Francesco will try to find his beloved beyond the boundaries of the understandable. With his singing and playing, Orpheus, charmed the ferryman Charon and the dog Cerberus, guardians of the River Styx. His music and grief so moved Hades, king of the underworld, that Orpheus was allowed to take Eurydice with him back to the world of life and light. Hades set one condition, however: upon leaving the land of death, both Orpheus and Eurydice were forbidden to look back.

She died and he lost his memories of her.

A life that, Francesco, feels destroyed, incurable.

Rehabilitation has failed.

The encouragement of his family was not enough.

Friends put aside.

Except that, suddenly, after months of unlimited suffering, an old schoolmate proposes an ambiguous solution: to try a substance able to take him into a parallel world to meet his lost love. He must travel through an uncharted reality and bend the law of nature in order to regain lost memories. But in this new reality, Francesco meets another girl and new friends.

Who are they and why do they look so familiar?

Will he be able to understand the facets of life's deepest secrets?

photo add-to-goodreads-button_zpsc7b3c634.png

When Australian Taylor Quinn travels to the Canadian Rockies, he least expects his holiday to be challenged by a snowboarding accident. The injury prevents further winter sports, but the hospital stay nurtures an optimistic connection: A nurse, with a finger on his pulse, supports his recovery and takes a chance on what could become a promising friendship.

Working on a trauma unit, Sarah Evans desires more than another critical care patient. When she meets Taylor, there’s something about him that appeals to her relationship goals. Maybe it’s the kindness in his eyes or his jovial warmhearted personality, but an ethical dilemma ensues when her care extends beyond the hospital setting. This heartfelt risk could lead to happiness, to the love she’s been searching for, maybe even a home far away from family, friends, and her native country.

What will a snowboarder and a nurse do when circumstances beyond their control end the holiday, potentially injuring their newfound romance? Will Taylor return to Australia? Will Sarah risk everything for the love she’s found?

PROMO Blitz: Magnificent Tales of Doomed Kingdoms by Rupendra Dhillon #promo #historical #fiction #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours @rdhillonauthor @BookBuzznet

Historical Fiction

Date Published: October 2022

Once upon a time, there was an age of kings. An age of mighty kingdoms and dynasties ruling over vast stretches of land with unlimited wealth and unmatched renown. But the memory of man is fickle and short lived. Common tales passed unto history, history became lore and lore faded into myth.

These stories will give you a momentary glimpse into the lives of the kings and the queens. They would tell you of the lives these men and women lived and the challenges they faced – from incapable princes to indecent relations, from sharp swords to seductive traps and from single minded greed to selfless sacrifices.

Be warned however, that you will feel their fears and their pains. Your heart will burn with rage, and chaos will stupor your thoughts. It would be sad, and it would be ruinous, but it would surely be magnificent!

My flatmate Bill summed me up recently. “Calum,” he said. “Ah love ye man, but when it comes tae women and relationships, you’re a total nightmare.” I'm not a bad guy. I mean ... I'm not. Ask anyone. I'm a nurse, for God’s sake. How bad could I be? Look, I'm not saying I'm an angel – far from it. I'm just saying...

Anyway... I'll let you be the judge.

Leaving Skye, I arrived in Edinburgh in the early 1980s to study nursing. I first met Bill when I moved into a shared flat in Warrender Park and got involved with his band, Low Down. Man, I loved their music and wanted to do anything I could to help them achieve success.

Of course, we took drugs – who didn't?

The thing is, I was selfish – I know that now. Knew it then too, but I was a man on a mission. The way I was living, though, it couldn’t last. I was on a collision course with myself and my karmic reward was waiting to kick me in the head.

About the Author

Raymond Moore is a Registered Nurse, living and working in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He's married to a Thai, has three children and has a house and farm in Thailand. Born and brought up in Glasgow, he left the city in 1977 aged 13 and moved to the Isle of Skye.

Leaving the island in 1982 he moved to Edinburgh to study Nursing where he qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1987 and has worked in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London, Al Ain and Singapore.

Raymond is the author of the Skye Stories Trilogy available on Redshank Books and has self published Poetry? Probably and Poetry? Maybe a collection of poems about Glasgow, Skye, Edinburgh and London.

His debut novel Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll and Nursing set in 1980s Edinburgh is now available in paperback and ebook.

Teaser: The Book of the Sun by Jenny Rook #promo #teaser #comingsoon #spiritual #nonfiction #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours @AuthorParul @AuthorJennyRook

Spiritual

‘Are these my thoughts or yours?’ I asked.

‘It doesn’t matter,’ said the Sun.  ‘You are me and I am you….’

The Book of the Sun is a record of the conversations between the author and the Sun.  It concerns the structure of the living universe, why it is so difficult here, and why we should all begin to realize that we are all one, and yet diverse at the same time.  It answers many questions that have concerned minds throughout the millennia.  Why are we here?  Why is there suffering?  What is the future for us?  These questions and many more are answered with many surprises for the reader.

This is a god- the Sun, speaking to us through this book – who has contacted us before in Ancient Egypt, the Americas and many other places.  But the message now is that there is no separation, so the Sun is very concerned that we should not make a religion out of this contact.  Religions are based on hierarchies, rules and judgments, and the Sun’s message is not only that we are one but that love and light is the only reality, with a spicing of laughter.

Teaser

'You are in my heart,'

...It was the sheer warmth of the love that took me by surprise.  It melted my heart in gratitude and joy.  It opened me to the most thrilling conversation of my life.

About the Author

Five other fantasy/horror books for teenagers were published by Scholastic (1994, 1995, 1997), Hodder (1995) and Orion (2000).
