Can forbidden fruit lead to sweet romance?

After standing up to the wrath of the owner of a private apple orchard where her daughter picked some of the tantalizing, but off-limits, fruit, will Skye Palmer allow the handsome cowboy to atone for making her little girl cry?

New owner of Humble Tree Orchards Troy Sutton feels terrible - he shouldn't have come down so hard on the child for taking some of his ripe produce - even if the farm's profit margin is in the red zone. Can he find a way to make it up to her and her gorgeous angry mother? And can they come up with a plan to save the apple orchard before the winter frost arrives?

Sweetness is in the air... and perhaps an "apple-y ever after" might just be possible after all...

Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?

-       I wish there were more hours in the day so I could write more!

How many books have you written and which is your favorite?

-       Over 15, and I couldn’t pick a favorite, it would be like being asked to choose a favorite child!

If You had the chance to cast your main character from Hollywood today, who would you pick and why?

-       This is difficult since I don’t really follow Hollywood LOL

When did you begin writing?

-       As long as I can remember! I remember writing stories in my dad’s office when I was in grade school.

How long did it take to complete your first book?

-       It was very fast, maybe a month!

Did you have an author who inspired you to become a writer?

-       So many:  Carolyn Keene, Madeleine L’Engle, Jane Austen, Isak Dinesen, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, all the Newberry Award winning authors I read as a child, and classic literature as an adult

What is your favorite part of the writing process?

-       When the stories seem to write themselves.

Describe your latest book in 4 words.

-       Dog show, beach, mystery, 2nd chance romance

Can you share a little bit about your current work or what is in the future for your writing?

-       My current book is Love for the Dogs – it’s part cozy mystery and part sweet romance based around an annual dog show that takes place on a beautiful tropical island!
