Can you tell us a little about the process of getting this
book published? How did you come up with the idea and how did you start?
What surprised you most about getting your book published?
First the Dutch version; it was só
easy, my publisher, his editor and me just adapted my version and there it
went. But the English/American story is quite a different one. It took me a
very long time before we all, who were involved, were ready for the first proof
copy. We decided to make a new cover, we went again and again through the
translated version to see if it was the right way of expressing what I intended
from my consciousness. And then there was this big thing about the promotion
and the book launch! I am very modest and not used at all to put myself in the
spotlight again and again. So I was mostly surprised by the American way of
doing this.
Tell us a little about what you do when you aren’t writing
I write a lot, besides book I am
writing about how to raise our consciousness, about all kinds of
transformations and changes that humanity is going through right now. I am
offering online Lightcircles about all these spiritual processes, to support
others on their journey to awakening. Me and my husband are renting a house in
the south of France, where my book was born! So we travel a lot, visit many
powerplaces, dive into the real history (not the one that was written by the
churchfathers), investigate a lot. And at home, in the Netherlands or in
France, I play the piano (since I was a concert pianist) and compose meditative
music, I love to walk in nature, and to be in silence, meditating,
contemplating and receiving messages from higher dimensions. Because that’s
what a modern day mystic is doing 😊 .
As a published author, what would you say was the most
pivotal point of your writing life?
That was the realization that I
really have the gift of giving words that can open peoples hearts and souls!
First I just smiled a little, when people said they were touched by my book.
But when my network started to grow more and more (now over 10.000) I knew that
writing is really a part of my mission for this lifetime on earth. The books
are loved in the south of France, and when I walk in ‘my’ village there, I
often meet people who know me, want to have a conversation about the places
that they visited because they took my book with them as a spiritual guide!
Where do you get your best ideas and why do you think that
is?
The best ideas come from what I
experienced myself, when what I want to write about has really become a part of
me. So when I write about transformations, or awakening processes, the right
words are coming from inside. And I am also very inspired by sacred, ancient
powerplaces, by the Ascended Masters that give me messages, during meditations
etc. The closer and deeper I am in myself, alone and in silence, the cleaner
and easier the messages can come in. Sometimes I get ideas from beloved ones
who are already above the veils; they tell me things about how wonderful life
is over there. If they take me into that energyfield, I can feel so much
guidance, love, joy and abundance; that I wish to share!
What is the toughest criticism given to you as an author?
The toughest thing for me is when
people start judging out of their own ignorance. But, on the other hand, I know
it’s not about me but about that they can not feel nor understand what I write
about. But it can hurt when someone has a very negative meaning about what I
wrote down from my heart and soul. Happily this happened only once, and that
was from a jealous person….
What has been your best accomplishment as a writer?
Honestly: that was stepping and
growing over my own fears, of being laughed at, not being taken serious, or not
understood, or judged. Because I have written só much in my genre, I have built
an inner foundation of trust, commitment and surrendering to what wants to be
written. So the accomplishment is actually not in the 3D form, but in myself!
It is absolutely not about earning money, or selling a lot of books. Of course
that would be great, but the true gain is the growing of my own consciousness,
and the gratefulness of all readers.
How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?
About the Author
Mieke Vulink was born in 1962 in the Netherlands. As a highly-sensitive child, the piano was a perfect instrument for Mieke to express her feelings and inner knowledge of harmony and sound. Her first earthly career was in music, as a concert pianist, piano teacher and composer. During Music Highschool, she discovered another interesting world of: sound healing and spirituality.
As a result of her own inner work, and the fine-tuning of her sensitivity, intuition and clairsentience, her connections with ascended masters and higher dimensions became stronger. She has dedicated her life to the esoteric, mystical, sacred knowledge and initiation pathways. Self-healing from everyone's own Source can be realised, while walking the path of the soul!
As a Lightworker, she started to receive callings to special, sacred places on Earth, for activations and coding integration. She went to Germany, Poland, Malta; Gozo, Greece, Turkey, Poland, Sicily, Great Britain and Scotland / Iona, Italy, Spain and France. After the first journey to southern France, her first book was born!
Mieke is a therapist and teacher in transformation and self-realisation; a teacher of essential healing; consciousness coach; a clairsentient medium; author; lightworker; and musician.
