As a new Christian, there were many things that I didn't understand about
living a Christian life. Through the years, the Holy Spirit taught me wisdom
and understanding which became a guide for me regarding how to live a more
loving and accepting life toward myself and others.
This book is a collection of some of those truths. It is my attempt to help
those who are new to the Christian faith. I hope that it will guide readers
to understand God's ways with a new perspective and passion.
Walking with God is truly a mystery and an adventure-it is the journey of a
lifetime! He is our greatest treasure and our very best friend. I hope to
not only convey those truths through my writing, but also to warm the hearts
and souls of those who read this gift book with His love and light at the

Interview
What was your main drive to write this book?
I wanted to write a book for people new to the Christian faith, which would help them understand the essential yet profound elements of being a Christian. I also wanted to write a book to let people know that they are accepted, loved, and valuable despite what they have been through. Life can throw a lot at us, and sometimes we don’t know how to respond. Hopefully, He Chose Me will inspire others to heal, get better, and strive for a happier future amid the chaos of life.
What do you hope readers will learn by reading this book?
I hope this book will inspire people to seek a relationship with God and to know they are worthy of living a fulfilled positive life. I believe that everyone is here for a reason and that everyone has a talent to share with the world—something that will make the world a better place. I hope readers will be inspired to believe in themselves more, share their talents, and live their best lives.
Did you do much research when planning this book?
This book is based on the last thirty years of my life. Both the art and the topics were long in the making. It took quite a while for me to learn the truths I have written about. I had a very tough life, and many of the concepts in this book were foreign to me, so I learned the hard way.
These truths have been life-changing for me, and I hope they will also be life-changing for those who read this book.
Did you have any main people who helped you in the process of this book or influenced you to write it?
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from many preachers and teachers. Some I’ve listened to in person, while others I’ve connected with online. It’s been a journey of understanding, where each person’s unique perspective has contributed to my learning. Some of the more well known people I’ve been greatly impacted by are Joyce Meyer, TD Jakes, Kenneth Hagin and Tony Evans.
How long did this book take to write from initial thought to hitting publish?
As I stated earlier, this book is filled with things I’ve learned over the past thirty years. I created the art over the past five years. I decided to put everything together about six months ago, so it was just a matter of gathering the art and concepts together and organizing them into this book. The organizational process took approximately two months.
Do you have plans to write more about this topic or new topics?
Yes, I’m organizing more books together on topics of healing. I have quite an extensive art portfolio so I’ll be including my art in those books as well. I like creating unique gift books.
