Is There a Message in Your Novel That You Want Readers to Grasp?
My picture book has double sets of numbers 1 to 10, rhyme, phonological
connection, rhythm and interaction.
Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
Writing is a passion, but marketing is another story.
How many books have you written and which is your favorite?
I have 5 picture books, 7 resource books, and 5 CDs with songs that might
become a picture book in the future.
When did you begin writing?
In 1995
How long did it take to complete your first book?
About 6 weeks
Did you have an author who inspired you to become a writer?
No it was a publisher and after the first picture book I decided to
independently publish my own writing.
What is your favorite part of the writing process?
Getting that book in my hand.
Describe your latest book in 4 words.
Adventurous, Fairgrounds, Cookie, Dancer
Can you share a little bit about your current work or what is in the
future for your writing?
My next book is with the illustrator at this time and I am excited to introduce
it for the fair season in the Midwest.
Dance & Twirl with the Sugar Cookie Girl will be a favorite with
fair goers.
