Interview

What was your main drive to write this book?
My main drive came from a deep conviction that so many teenagers are growing up without truly understanding who they are and why they were created. I saw young people struggling with identity, comparison, pressure, and confusion about their future. And at the same time, I felt strongly that God has a unique purpose for every single one of them.

Seeds of Purpose was born out of both a burden and a calling, to create something simple, practical, and engaging that would help teens discover their identity in God and begin walking in their purpose early in life. I didn’t just want to inspire them; I wanted to guide them step-by-step.

What do you hope readers will learn by reading this book?
I hope readers walk away knowing three key things:

First, that they are not an accident; they were created intentionally by God, with a purpose.
Second, that they can hear God and be led by Him in their everyday lives.
And third, that they don’t have to wait until adulthood to start living a meaningful life, they can start now.

Beyond that, I want this book to feel like a companion. Something that speaks their language, makes them think, makes them laugh, and challenges them to grow spiritually in a real and practical way.

Did you do much research when planning this book?
Yes, but not in a traditional academic sense. My “research” was a combination of studying the Bible deeply, observing the real struggles teenagers face today, and reflecting on my own journey of discovering purpose.

I paid close attention to how teens learn, what keeps them engaged, and what makes spiritual concepts easy to understand. That’s why the book is designed to be interactive, relatable, and practical, not just theoretical.

Did you have any main people who helped you in the process of this book or influenced you to write it?
God is truly the biggest influence behind this book. I see this project as an assignment He placed on my heart.

Beyond that, I’ve been inspired by mentors, faith-based teachers, and people who dedicate their lives to helping others grow spiritually. Also, the young people themselves have been a huge influence—their questions, their struggles, and their potential all shaped how I wrote this book.

How long did this book take you to write from initial thought to hitting publish?
This book was not written overnight. It was a process that developed over time—from the initial idea, to refining the message, to structuring it in a way that truly serves teens.

There were seasons of writing, pausing, praying, and rewriting. I wanted to make sure the message was clear, impactful, and aligned with God’s heart. So overall, it took a significant amount of time, but every step was intentional.

Do you have plans to write more about this topic or new topics?
Yes, absolutely. Seeds of Purpose is just the beginning.

I’m hoping to expand this vision into a full youth curriculum and ministry that will include guided lessons, mentorship, and practical tools to help teens grow spiritually and discover their purpose.

This is not just about one book, it’s about building something that can impact a generation.
