F-Bomb Affirmations is the self-help book for people who are fed the f•ck up with the same old stories keeping them from reaching their dreams and goals.

In this insightful and entertaining book, self-proclaimed affirmation queen Natalie Stokell breaks down the brain science of why we achieve some of our goals but not others. In 11 easy-to-read chapters, you’ll learn:

• How beliefs are formed from a neuroscience perspective and how these beliefs filter your view of the world

• How to discover what stories are keeping you from reaching your goals, so you can push through these blocks and make some epic sh•t happen in your life

• How your brain works so you can start rewiring it for success and reach your goals faster

• What goals trigger your ‘not good enough’ stories and how to shift this so you can begin to feel worthy to receive

• Why swearing is actually good for you and how you can use it as an effective mindset tool

• How to create affirmations that actually work, so you can use them with confidence and create the life you were meant to live

By the end of F-Bomb Affirmations, you’ll understand how your brain works and how to work it. You’ll have five keys to supercharge your affirmations – and you’ll discover how to immediately start applying these keys to the things you want to be, do, and have in your life.

Everything is possible. Your dreams are within your reach. And you’ve got what it takes.

You are one f•cking incredible human.

Interview

Is There a Message in Your Book That You Want Readers to Grasp?

YES! I want people to know that it IS possible to rewire their brain and start thinking the kind of thoughts that will allow them to create the life they truly desire - be that one full of big fancy houses and fast sports cars, or one full of picnics in the woods and cups of tea by the fireplace.

No matter what your dreams are they are valid.

And no matter what your background or life experience so far you CAN change your life and bring your dreams into reality.

I also want people to know that a lot of the ‘woo woo’ stuff is in fact rooted in science.

If you are someone like me who likes some woo, but also values science then knowing this is powerful.

Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?

My inner critic or my “Shitty Committee” as I have named them, are often loud, and when they tell me all the reasons not to write I do find it hard to ignore them.

However,  I have found some great ways to reassure and quieten them. I talk about these ways in my book - so actually they have helped me write!

How many books have you written and which is your favorite?

Just one so far. So it’s my favourite for sure!

If You had the chance to cast your main character from Hollywood today, who would you pick and why?

Hhmmm. I really love Emma Stone, because I think she is quirky, intelligent and also knows how to have fun.

When did you begin writing?

I have written all my life, as a child I used to entertain my family with stories I had written. During my masters in psychology I did a lot of academic writing. And on a personal development level I have written everyday. I have boxes full of old journals and notebooks.

I think we all probably have a book or two inside of us. And if we only got out of our own way long enough to write it the world would be a better place!

How long did it take to complete your first book?

Eight months. Yikes that sounds long. it was a process for sure, but once I started working with a book coach for accountability it got easier.

Did you have an author who inspired you to become a writer?

I actually really love the fiction genre of Magical Surrealism, so Isabel  Allende and Louis de Bernières are favourites, if I was going to write fiction I would write like them.

What is your favorite part of the writing process?

The part when you are in the zone and the words just flow and then you read back what you have written and you get the goosebumps!

Describe your latest book in 4 words.

Rewire your brain easily.

Can you share a little bit about your current work or what is in the future for your writing?

Currently I am working on getting my affirmation tracks produced in 8D. I have just discovered this style and it blows my mind!

I am also working on the finishing touches of my mini course! It’s called “How to easily and effectively use affirmations every f*cking day”, and it goes through some really fun and effective ways to incorporate affirmations into your daily life. I also include an abundance of my own tracks and meditations to use daily and I hope to have some of the tracks in 8D for this too!

I love hearing from readers so please feel free to reach out to me via DM on Instagram @fbombaffirmations or to email me!
